Curatorial Assistant: Non-vertebrate Paleontology Lab

The Non-vertebrate Paleontology Lab is looking for a Curatorial Assistant. Duties include, but are not limited to, working with the Specify database, processing outgoing and returning loans, intake and accessioning of new fossil material, photography of fossil specimens as well as creating plates for publication. A willingness to take part in outreach events is encouraged. Successful candidates will have experience with relational databases, Microsoft Office products, Photoshop, DSLR cameras, and have a rudimentary knowledge of xml. Additionally, candidates must be detail oriented and have a basic knowledge of geology and paleontology. Heavy lifting will occasionally be required, as well as walking up and down stairs.
