Illinois Natural History Survey is looking for a Museum Collection Assistant to assist with the integration of Southern Illinois University (SIUC) fluid vertebrate collections into the Survey’s Fish, Amphibian, and Reptile collections. Duties will include; moving, unpacking, and assisting in cataloging SIUC fluid-preserved specimens.

Qualifications

College-level coursework in a Biological Science. Bachelor’s degree in a Biological Science is preferred. Experience working with large databases and with a natural history collection.

Salary: $11.50 – 13.40 per hour, up to 40 hours per week.
