Located in the heart of downtown Tucson, the UArizona Alfie Norville Gem & Mineral Museum is looking to hire a new Director! This position will be unique, as the museum has a new home at the Historical Pima County Courthouse and exists within the University of Arizona system. The museum will draw a crowd every February as Tucson becomes center for the largest gem and mineral showcase in the world. The museum has 3 major galleries: Mineral Evolution, Arizona Gallery, and Gem Gallery, which hosts an interactive crystal lab, treasury of jewelry, and even includes mining history, artwork, and fossils. The space also boasts a gem education classroom, library, and research laboratory with distinctive opportunities for collaboration, workshops, and events.
