The University of Kansas Natural History Museum seeks a Museum Education Coordinator to teach and develop a range of science education programs and services. The museum educator is a key staff member in a small department.  Responsibilities include teaching programs, research and development, and administration of engaging science programs. This person should be creative, enthusiastic and curious about science and natural history, comfortable with presenting challenging material, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Master’s degree in a relevant field OR Bachelor’s and 3 years related experience, and a minimum of 1 year professional science teaching experience required. Master’s degree and 3+ years teaching experience in an informal science education setting are preferred. Salary $42 to 45k.
