The American Museum of Natural History seeks a Museum Specialist to assist in the care of the Department of Ornithology bird collection. The collection includes skin, fluid, and osteological specimens, eggs and nests, genetic resources, and archives. Responsibilities include collection care; cataloging; specimen data management and databasing; specimen photography; fieldwork and specimen preparation; processing loans; integrated pest management; staff and visiting scientist assistance; and related tasks.
