The Sustainability Excellence Award is an AAM PIC Green signature program that educates, facilitates, and encourages green practices in museums. Started in 2014, the award recognizes sustainability efforts in facilities, programming, and exhibits in both large and small institutions. PIC Green views the award as an opportunity to share sustainability stories and encourage museums and other cultural heritage institutions to develop and educate visitors about green practices.
This award is open to archival facilities and programs too. The deadline for submissions is February 16, 2018. More information can be found at PIC Green Network
